Ai Weiwei talks about the impact the city of New York had on him as an artist and the time he spent living there as a young man.

The film was shot and edited by the director Alison Klayman, who spent two years capturing Ai Weiwei's life for 'AI WEIWEI: NEVER SORRY', the first feature-length documentary film on China's leading contemporary artist and most vocal dissident, released in 2012.
