Join Otherness Archive for a screening centred around joy, laughter and rage

As part of this year’s festival, we’ve invited Otherness Archive to curate a film programme inspired by the theme of Queer Joy. From 6pm in the Clore Auditorium a rolling programme of film and moving image works from LGBTQIA+ filmmakers will be on loop throughout the evening.

For Trans+ people moments of joy, euphoria, and play can be held in one hand, and grief, sorrow, and anger in the other. This film programme will share how joy and laughter are necessary in Trans+ lives, and explore how joy and rage can sometimes be one of the same.

Curated by Sweatmother and April Lin 林森

This event is part of Queer and Now, a festival dedicated to the powerful role of LGBTQIA+ art and culture in the UK.
